Brown County Recreation Committee Meeting

January 31 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Public support needed!
Brown County is considering entering into an agreement with the Oneida Tribe to develop a new 5.5 mile recreational trail along an abandoned section of railroad corridor from Packerland Drive (near Pamperin Park) to the town of Oneida. The proposed trail would become part of the existing Duck Creek Trail, a 7 mile trail that extends from the town of Oneida to the town of Seymour. In Seymour, the Duck Creek Trail connects to the Newton Blackmour State Trail, a 24 mile trail connecting New London, Shiocton, Black Creek and Seymour. This addition would create a continuous 36.5 mile trail from Packerland Drive in Green Bay to New London. There will be a county meeting to consider this development. Details are as follows:

Brown County Education & Recreation Committee
Thursday, January 31st @ 5:30 pm
Brown County Northern Building, 305 E Walnut St, Green Bay, WI 54301
Room 200

It’s important to add that when you attend the meeting, please be respectful of others.  Thank you and see you there!
