A Great BIG Thank You!
Ok, the dust has settled from the bike banquet (for nearly a month). May is almost gone! Work, school, and vacations have slowed us down, but we are back and ready to ride! But first, we’d like to revisit the main event.
We had a wonderful turnout for the banquet. About 80 folks showed up to give their support and support they did! The music was great, the food was bountiful, and the mood was positive.
Congratulations to the 99%ers for winning the logo contest…
Your shirts will be processed shortly. Also, if anyone is interested in having shirts made for their own gang, Britney and Caitlin of Thirty Three Printing will do a great job. Contact them at thirty.threellc33@gmail.com.
Next, we has so many great items for the raffle. The pin striped cooler was a big draw, a gift card for a tattoo was quite a surprise, and some handmade items made from reused bike parts were really fun!
This event couldn’t have happened without the support of bike enthusiasts and fun, spirited folks like yourselves. You’ve proven that there is interest in a non-profit bike collective in Green Bay and you’ve given us some ideas as well as the enthusiasm to move forward. So we’d like to thank you…
White Dog Black Cat Cafe/Big Show – for providing a great venue and great food with the best staff
The Gung Ho’s/Snake and Johnny Tough Guy – for volunteering your time and rockin’ the house
Eric and Paula (our bike ambassadors from Milwaukee) – for printing posters, judging the logo contest, and supporting us
Mark – for pin striping the much coveted cooler
211 Tattoo – for your generous gift certificate donation
The Cha Cha Chain Gang – for making those great bike crafts
Marilyn and Rhett – for managing the doors and welcoming everyone
And last, but not least….our GBBC founders, Aimee, Ashley, Brad, Kim, and Rob – for all of your time, effort, and support in making this event a success.
Stay tuned for the next ride
